Our commitment to your privacy Mr Location is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data. All location processing happens entirely on your device.

01 Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how MR.Developers ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Mr Location Android application ("the App").

By using Mr Location, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

02 Information We Do NOT Collect

Mr Location does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

Your real GPS or network location
Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or crash reports
Saved bookmarks or spoofed location history
Any data from third-party accounts

      100% On-Device
      All data created in the App (saved locations, theme preferences) is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server.
    

03 Permissions We Request

The App requests the following Android permissions and explains exactly why:

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION — To show your current position on the map so you can navigate to a spoofed location. This data never leaves your device.
ACCESS_MOCK_LOCATION — Required to provide the GPS spoofing feature via Android's Developer Options mock location API.
INTERNET — To load map tiles from OpenStreetMap and to fetch location search suggestions from the free Nominatim geocoding service. No personal data is included in these requests.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION — To keep the mock location active in the background while you use other apps.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 9 and below only) — To cache map tiles locally for faster loading. No personal data is written.

04 Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services solely to display the map. We have no control over their privacy practices:

OpenStreetMap / MAPNIK — Provides standard map tiles. See openstreetmap.org/privacy
CartoDB (CARTO) — Provides dark theme map tiles. See carto.com/privacy
Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) — Provides location search and autocomplete. Search queries (city/place names you type) are sent to this service. No account or identity data is included.

      No advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, no social media trackers
      Mr Location contains zero third-party tracking or advertising libraries.
    

05 Data Storage & Security

The only data stored by the App is:

Your saved/bookmarked locations (stored in Android SharedPreferences on your device)
Your theme preference (dark/light)
Cached map tiles (stored in your device's local storage for faster loading)

This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time via Settings → Apps → Mr Location → Clear Data on your Android device.

06 Children's Privacy

Mr Location is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

07 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
